Frieda E. Smith brings more than 35 years of nonprofit management and ten years of serving as senior advisor and consultant at data2insight.  She is a facilitator, trainer, trainer of trainers, and seasoned diversity management facilitator.

Her volunteer experiences include serving as a founding board member of Diversity Awareness Partnership - St. Louis, where she served on the board for 10 years (two as Board Chair).  She has served on the Board of Pensions USA for the United Federation of Metropolitan Community Churches for six years (four as Clerk). Other board positions included two terms at her local MCC congregation (three as board chair), six years with Cultural Leadership (two as Chair), and is currently serving a three year term on the Doorways (St. Louis, MO) board of directors.

Some of the non profit organizations Frieda has worked for during her years-long career include the Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri, the American Red Cross - BiState Chapter, the YWCA of Greater St. Louis, and the Girl Scouts of Alaska.

Frieda is a long-time, eagle-eye copy editor. She has helped ensure that thousands of documents are easy to read for your audience, free or errors, and grammatically correct.

Examples of this include her nine years of copy editing for data2insight, serving as Clerk for Metropolitan Community Churches Board of Pensions for the past four years, producing high quality documents including full minutes of the day-long annual meetings, and reports to the denomination.  She also does copy editing for her local congregation, Metropolitan Community Church of Greater Saint Louis, including the weekly newsletters and bulletins, proposals, and significant letters to entities in the community.
